An indigenous Nasa, he holds a degree in Popular Education and is a social communicator by profession. He has extensive experience in communication processes, research, participation and action in indigenous communities, as well as in other social sectors. He has worked for different indigenous organizations at the regional and national level in Colombia, and has experience in building policies in favour of indigenous peoples, as well as experience in the direction and production of indigenous television and film projects. He coordinated the research of the Indigenous Chapter of the Commission for the Clarification of the Truth about the Armed Conflict in Colombia. He currently coordinates the area of communication and advocacy of the National Commission of Indigenous Territories (CNTI), supporting the structuring of the Observatory of Territorial Rights of Indigenous Peoples, advising communities on the defence of their territorial rights in the face of threats that arise, especially those related to the security of their territories.
