Hay Festival Colombia 2026

On behalf of the Hay Festival, it is a pleasure to greet you once again and share essential information about the 21st Edition of the Hay Festival Colombia and the opening of our 2026 Members Programme.

Thanks to your continued support, we have been able to expand our cultural offerings through programmes such as Hay Festival Joven and Hay Festival Comunitario, bringing our events to broader audiences across Cartagena and Bolívar, and strengthening the Festival as a plural, accessible and inspiring space.

The 21st Edition of Hay Festival Cartagena will take place from Thursday 29 January to Sunday 1 February 2026, featuring an exceptional programme that will bring together leading national and international authors, thinkers and experts. The full programme will be available on our website from 19 November 2025, the official launch date, which also marks the opening of ticket sales to the general public.

The 2026 Members Programme fees are as follows:

• Single Membership (PBS): $2,400,000

• Dual Membership (PBD): $4,000,000

Below are the benefits of joining the programme:

Priority booking: Access to reserve up to 20 events per person during the four days of the Festival (maximum one ticket per selected event).

Exclusive booking period: Members will have priority to select their 20 events between 19 November and 9 December 2025.
Note: From 10 December 2025 onwards, you may continue selecting events, but these will be subject to general availability once the remaining tickets reserved for the Members Programme are released.

Preferred seating: Priority entry and reserved seats at the main venues (Teatro Adolfo Mejía, and Barahona and Getsemaní Halls at the Centro de Convenciones).
Reserved seats will be held until 10 minutes before the start of each event.

You will receive a badge identifying you as a Member (the badge serves for identification purposes only and does not grant access to the events).

Social activities: Access to the social events organised as part of the Festival.

Your name will be credited in the digital programme and in the Members section of the Festival’s website.

Gift: A limited-edition photograph of a Festival participant, courtesy of “the writers’ photographer” Daniel Mordzinski.

Tax benefit: The Hay Festival Colombia Foundation will issue an official Donation Certificate for the portion of your contribution not allocated to ticket purchases.

To formalise your contribution and secure your place, please make the payment by 20 November 2025.
