Teodoro LEÓN GROSS

Teodoro León Gross is a journalist and writer. He has written for Spain’s three major newspapers: El País, El Mundo, and, currently, ABC. He is a professor of journalism at the University of Málaga, where he served as director of the Manuel Alcántara Chair. Throughout his career, which began at Diario 16 and continued at Vocento, Joly and The Objective, he has also been a political commentator for leading Spanish radio programmes: Hoy por Hoy on Cadena SER and, currently, Herrera on COPE; he currently directs and presents Mesa de Análisis on RTVA. His publications include, amongst others, El artículo de opinión (1996) and El periodismo débil (2006). He is co-author of La prensa diaria en la UE (Association of European Journalists, 2003). La muerte del periodismo is his latest essay.
