Neddy AMOGA

amoga-neddy Neddy Lusimbo is an accomplished filmmaker with over eight years of experience in the industry. She has honed her expertise in production management, script supervision, and first assistant directing, contributing to a diverse array of high-profile productions. Neddy has played a key role in several acclaimed projects, including Untying the Kantai (Showmax), Mzuka (Showmax), Baba Yao (KTN & Showmax), Run Mary Run (Showmax), Parliament of Owls (Soma Streaming), and The Samaritan (Soma Streaming), Tuki Radio drama, Ni Idhaa radio drama among others. In addition to her extensive filmmaking background, Neddy is a certified psychologist, a qualification that informs her approach to both team dynamics and storytelling, allowing her to bring a unique psychological insight to her work. Neddy's passion for film production extends beyond traditional filmmaking. She serves as the Project Manager for the Cinema in Nature Experience, an initiative that explores the stories of young men and women who fought for independence through audio-visual storytelling. Under her leadership, the project has reached over 3,000 participants and has successfully delivered 60 shows. In her role, Neddy manages the daily operations, strategic direction, and production of new episodes, while also leading efforts to expand the project across Africa. Her vision is to inspire ongoing advocacy for justice and stand up for what is right through compelling storytelling.
