Mark LEICHENA

Mark Laichena is the Chief Strategy Officer of SHOFCO. Prior to this, he was the Director of Girl Capital, Education and Livelihoods for the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation. In addition, Mark served as an Operations Director and Country Director for GiveDirectly. Further to this, he worked as a Strategy Consultant with McKinsey & Company in the US and later directly with implementation teams in New York’s public hospital system and the
Kenyan Ministry of Health. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
