Alex QUESSEP

Quessep is a restaurateur, cultural manager, community educator, chef and the owner of acclaimed restaurants in Barranquilla: ZaitĂșn (1999) and Palo de Mango (2019). He is an active member of Rojo Madrid and DĂ©jame que te cuente (2024), though his work extends beyond commercial kitchens. He has led community initiatives, provided institutional consulting and spearheaded publishing projects focused on food sovereignty, cuisine as heritage, and training new generations of traditional cooks.
