Arianna DE SOUSA-GARCÍA

Arianna de Sousa-García (Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, 1988) is a storyteller, poet, and chronicler. She is also a journalist and holds a Master's degree in Narrative Writing. In 2016, she won the Jesús Márquez Prize from the newspaper El Tiempo for her investigative work on the food control chain in Venezuela. She has lived in Chile since 2016 and currently teaches writing workshops and runs reading clubs in the Norte Grande region. She was co-founder of the now defunct Casajena editoras publishing house and belongs to the Traza writers' collective.
