Frekwéncia (b. 1997, Brazil) is a multimedia artist based in Rio de Janeiro. Guided by àṣẹ, the vital force present in everything within Yoruba cosmoperception, her practice articulates performance, sound, text, and visual forms to explore Afro-diasporic memories and socialities, fugitive modes of listening, and visible and invisible materialities. She investigates the connections between the living and the ancestral, making the body a site of transmission and encounter, activating shared resonances from a radical sensibility that drives other ways of feeling and relating. She holds a degree in Social Sciences from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (2020). She is the Pedagogical Coordinator of the Laboratório de Estudos Anticoloniais (Brazil) and participated in the artistic residency at La Nueva Fábrica (Guatemala, 2025).
