With nearly two decades in the worlds of graphic design and cultural management, Rubén Egea has had the opportunity to work from the perspective of visuality and cultural identity. His training includes a doctorate in Education, which he is currently pursuing, a Master's degree in Development and Culture, as well as specialized studies in Communication Design. Throughout his career, he has contributed to diverse projects, from leading strategies for sharing knowledge with the community, to playing essential roles in prominent cultural events and publications, such as the transmedia final report of the Truth Commission, as well as the adaptation of two comics resulting from historical research, and a significant amount of educational material. As a graphic designer, he has participated in the creation of exhibitions and museum renovations in collaboration with respected cultural institutions. He also has over a decade of experience teaching and coordinating academic research. His focus is on the capacity of design and culture to connect with society, exploring new forms of visual expression and narrative.
