JOSÉ MARÍA QUIRÓS MUÑOZ teaches Spanish language and literature and is the editor of El Cobaya magazine. He is regarded as one of the most important poets in Spain today. He has written more than twenty books; the most recent of which is El rostro de la niebla, which received the 2009 Alfons El Magnánim Poetry Prize, and El temblor de la libélulas, which won the Ciudad de Cáceres prize in 2011.
