Colombian-Ecuadorian journalist with 20 years of experience in television journalism. She currently works as Director of Opinion Programmes at the international news organization NTN24 as well as at Noticias RCN and La FM Radio. She is also a high-profile news presenter, and directs and presents the political debate programme Zoom a la Noticia. She studied a Master’s in Political Management at the George Washington University while she was news correspondent in the US capital. She has covered presidential elections in the United States, Ecuador and Colombia; Summits of the Americas in Trinidad and Tobago and Cartagena-Colombia; as well as a number of economic forums. She worked in Ecuador for the country’s major channel for ten years as a presenter and director of local news slots, in Quito. She was also an interviewer and presenter for the Notimundo programme on the radio station FM Mundo in Quito-Ecuador. During her career as a journalist she has interviewed numerous famous figures from the spheres of politics and culture, including Hillary Clinton, Andrés Pastrana, Rafael Correa, Mario Vargas Llosa, Christine Lagarde and Álvaro Uribe.
