She studied design at the Design School of INBA. After some time doing animation, she devoted herself fully to the illustration of children's and young people's literature. She won first place in Conaculta's Catalogue of Children's and Young People's Publications competition in 2011. She designed the image of the International Children's and Young People's Literature Fair, FILIJ in 2012. She has been published as an illustrator in publishing houses such as Alfaguara Infantil, Ediciones SM, Editorial Castillo, Porrúa, Editorial Planeta, Edelvives, La Guarida, Artes de México, Editorial Porrúa, CIDCLI, Editorial Planeta, Fondo de Cultura Económica, Editorial Océano. She teaches illustration and graphic narrative at the Faculty of Art and Design of the UNAM. In 2017 she was recognised with the support of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte in the discipline of graphic narrative. She recently published a silent album book called En sus zapatos, which deals with the theme of inclusion and diversity, and a graphic novel aimed at young audiences called ¿Feminismo?..¡eso qué! published under Penguin Random House's Nube de Tinta imprint.
