How to Become the Best Explorer in the World

Workshop for Adventurous Children (and Travelling Parents) by Lonely Planet

Venue: Romeral de San Marcos

Exploring our planet is not easy. It means knowing about nature and how to survive in difficult environments such as the deserts, the jungle and the frozen wastes of Antarctica. In this workshop organised by travel guide producer Lonely Planet, geographer, climber and traveller Raúl Martin will teach us some basic survival skills. How do you locate your direction in the ice? Find out how to find water in the desert, how to use a compass, and even what to do if faced by a hungry bear. The workshop is open to young people aged 7 to 12 years, who are welcome to bring their parents along for the journey.
