ABC DEBATE. WHY SPAIN NEEDS A CULTURE MINISTRY

Venue: Campus de Santa Cruz la Real–IE University, Sala Capitular

Over the last four years in Spain, the arts and culture have not been represented at cabinet level. What opportunities have been lost as a result, what level of representation does culture require in a country like Spain, and do we need a new political strategy and a minister to improve the way in which the culture industry impacts on society (and GDP)? Bieito Rubio, editor of Spanish daily ABC, moderates a debate between experts on cultural management.
