On this occasion, Trinity College London brings to Segovia Trial by Jury, a one-act comic opera by Gilbert and Sullivan. This interactive workshop will introduce techniques and strategies which teachers can use to prepare students for a dramatic musical performance in 180 minutes. The challenges of performing a text in English will be explored, of acting, and of using drama theory to develop characterization and staging.
