Olivier Guez

The writer and journalist was born in Strasbourg, and studied at the London School of Economics. He writes for The New York Times, Le Monde and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. He is the author of five geopolítical assays, and two novels. He has also been scriptwriter for ´The People vs Fritz Bauer'.

The disappearance of Josef Mengele was awarded the Renaudot Prize in 2017 and was a huge bestseller in France. It focuses in an original way on one of the most incomprehensible episodes in History: Mengele's clandestine life on arrival in Peronist Buenos Aires up to his death in 1979 in a Brazilian favela. Guez talks with the journalist Antonio San José.
