The Arequipan Alejandra Ballón is a writer, researcher and academic, with a doctorate in Social Anthropology and Ethnology from the EHESS, Paris, and is Director of National Art and Criticism Research (INCA) in Peru. Her work includes a strong emphasis on art y women's rights research.
