Recetario para la memoria (“A Recipe Book for the Memory”) is a recipe book created by the rastreadoras of Sinaloa, a group of women who are looking for their families, victims of forced disappearance. The book compiles the favourite dishes of the family members who have disappeared. The first rastreadora was Mirna Medina, who has been looking for her son Roberto since 2014. Zahara Gómez (Spain) is a photographer and is the coordinator of the project. Enrique Olvera, owner between other of the Pujol restaurante in Mexico City, and one of the Mexican chefs that helped with the fundraising for the project. The three will talk about the journey of the rastreadoras and how this extraordinary book has come about. In conversation with Juan Carlos Pérez, BBC Mundo journalist.
