Hay Festival Classics: Dilma Rousseff in conversation with Javier Moreno

Querétaro 2020,
Hay Festival Classics relaunches a series of unforgettable events from different Hay Festivals, with some of the most outstanding guests on the contemporary international scene. With a fresh perspective and subtitles in Spanish, we present conversations that will never grow old. Dilma Rousseff is a Brazilian economist and politician who was president of the country between January 2011 and August 2016, and was the first woman president of Brazil. Succeeding the president Lula, she was re-elected in 2014, beating a coalition of centre-right parties and keeping the centre-left Partido dos Trabalhadores in power. At Cartagena 2020, Rousseff spoke to Javier Moreno, Editor of El País, about the future of the left in Latin America.
