Andri Snaer Magnason in conversation with Joseph Zárate

Imagine: Climate emergency. Time and water

Arequipa 2022,

What happens when a glacier melts? Andri Snaer Magnason (Iceland) is one of the major literary voices in his country, a film director and winner of various prestigious literary awards, including the 2013 Philip K. Dick Award and the Italian Tiziano Terzani Prize in 2021. He has been vice-chairman of the Icelandic Writers’ Union and even been a presidential candidate. His last book, On Time and Water, a publishing success in a number of countries, is a fascinating reflection on the climate emergency. This is a delicate work of literary non-fiction that is a call to responsibility for looking after our home, this planet. He will talk about this urgent matter with the journalist and writer Joseph Zárate.
