Aunt Lola

Cartagena 2023,
The Colombian writer Andrés Hoyos is an El Espectador columnist and founder of El Malpensante magazine. In conversation with Guido Tamayo, he presents his new novel, La tía Lola, in which, in the interweaving of the Linero and Velasco families, he threshes out stories that tackle a varied range of social and political conflicts. The book reflects a broad section of what Colombia was in the last quarter of the 20th century.
