The language of urban space

An event dedicated to the issue of how we build our identities in the Peruvian urban space, and how we differentiate ourselves from other cultures through the use of certain letters of the alphabet. How urban space, communication systems and our environment are, per se, our visual link with the world. At this session, Ralph Bauer, a German graphic designer based in Peru and author of the book Hol-A, published by Mónimo, will talk to Milagros Saldarriaga about these and other matters that will let us value once again the richness and personality of the Spanish language; they will discuss the “emotionality” of As, Os and our “territorial vocabulary”. A great opportunity for those who love the language, whether written or spoken, and wish to see its riches be an inspiration for future generations.
