Rio de Onor, in Bragança; Rihonor de Castilla, Zamora have inspired writers such as Miguel de Unamuno and José Saramago.
On this occasion, participants will share an inspiring and moving day, with an exchange of poetry readings from both sides. A workshop will put local craftsmanship within our reach; and let’s not forget the pleasures of local food at a medieval mill, one of many dotted along the Great Route of Moinhos e dos Lameiros. On this day —a celebration of unity— Spain and Portugal walk in step, separated and joined together by a simple line drawn on the map.
