Rüdiger Safranski, German philosopher and writer, member of the German Language and Poetry Academy, will talk to Javier Moreno, Berlin correspondent in 2003 and editor at El País since 2006. Chaired by Santiago Íñiguez, president of IE University.
Simultaneous translation will be available from German into Spanish.
Inauguration of the Invited Work: “Am Grunde der Moldau /Drei Kaiser”, by Anselm Kiefer
20:30-21:15, MUSEO ESTEBAN VICENTE The work invited by the Fundación AXA to Hay Festival 2011 is one by Anselm Kiefer, belonging to the Fundación de María José Jove collection. Kiefer’s work is a continuous reference to the historical, cultural and geographic events that intermingle between literary and poetic inspirations. Its name, “Am Grunde der Moldau”, comes from the words Bertold Brecht uses to start his work Song of the Moldau.
Co-organized with the Fundación AXA and with the collaboration of the Goethe-Institut, the Museo Esteban Vicente, the Fundación María José Jove and the Grupo Matarromera. Diputacion de Segovia, Renfe.
