Mae’n bleser gennym gyflwyno’r Rhaglen Ysgolion digwyddiadau wyneb yn wyneb i ddisgyblion yng Nghyfnod Allweddol 2 yn cael eu rhedeg ar ddydd Iau 21 Mai ac i ddisgyblion yng Nghyfnodau Allweddol 3 a 4 ar ddydd Gwener 22 Mai.

Mwynhewch ddau ddiwrnod o hwyl ac ysbrydoliaeth gydag awduron cyffrous a pherfformiadau sy’n ysgogi’r meddwl ar gyfer pobl ifanc.

Bydd digwyddiad yn cael ei ffrydio’n fyw ar y diwrnod, ac maen nhw’n rhad ac am ddim i’w gwylio eto ar Hay Festival Anytime (pennawd yn Saesneg). Gallwch brynu llyfrau ar y diwrnod o Siop Lyfrau Gwyl y Gelli.

Mae pob digwyddiad tua 45 munud o hyd.

We’re thrilled to bring you our Programme for Schools live events for pupils in Key Stage 2 on Thursday 21 May and Key Stages 3 & 4 on Friday 22 May.

Enjoy two days of fun and inspiration with exciting writers and thought-provoking performances for young people.

Events will be livestreamed on the day and are free to watch again later on Hay Festival Anytime (captioned in English). You can buy books on the day from the Hay Festival Bookshop.

All events are approximately 45 minutes in duration.

Holomonsters imagines a next-level gaming development, in which fantastical creatures are projected into the real world as holograms. But at Holomonsters HQ, not all is as it seems. Lee shares his inspiration, from animals to Pokémon, and answers your burning questions, as well as hosting an epic, live Holomonsters card battle and helping you create your own Holomonster!

Will Davenant inherits his grandfather’s Complete Works of Shakespeare – and the Bard’s characters spring from its pages. Will can summon the book’s heroes, including the murderous Lady Macbeth, Juliet (without her Romeo), Yorick, the mournful skull, and a mischievous Puck, in a comedy of errors. Can love’s labours win? Maz is the award-winning author of Vi Spy and the Gods Squad series. She has recently adapted Who Let the Gods Out? for the London stage.

Enter a world of myth with CM Lewis as she introduces Quill and the Last Generation, inspired by Welsh mythology, folklore and magic. Hear about her magical beings, from dragons and lost souls to a horse made of water. CM (aka Caryl) will explore the qualities of heroes and what it takes to be a leader, give tips on writing and demonstrate how to generate ideas.

Caryl Lewis is a multi-award-winning Welsh novelist, children’s writer, playwright and screenwriter of an award-winning adaptation of the modern classic Martha, Jac a Sianco. Her other screenwriting work includes BBC/S4C thrillers Hinterland and Hidden.

In this bilingual event, starting with just a scribble, Siôn Tomos Owen (or Barwn E Bychnod the Fifth) takes you on an adventure into the Book that Nobody is Allowed to Read and helps you create characters like Dan Jerys, the Bronfwystfil and Maldwyn the Giant Duck.

Siôn, the current Bardd Plant Cymru, is a bilingual writer, poet, artist and presenter from Treorchy in Rhondda Fawr. He has written and illustrated several books for children and Welsh learners, and his poetry and stories are on the new curriculum for GCSE Welsh and Welsh as a second language.

Yn y digwyddiad dwyieithog hwn, bydd Siôn Tomos Owen (neu Barwn E Bychnod y 5ed) yn dechrau gyda dim ond sgribl, ac yn eich tywys i mewn i’r Llyfr Does Neb yn Cael ei Ddarllen, ac yn eich helpu i greu cymeriadau fel Dan Jerys, y Bronfwystfil a Maldwyn yr Hwyaden Anferth.
