There are three official Hay Festival car parks; The Car Park in Aid of MacMillan, Clyro Court and the Disabled Car Park. Please book your parking here.
This is the closest car park to the Festival site, just a short walk to the main entrance. The Car Park at Hay in aid of Macmillan costs £8 per car per day. You can book tickets in advance.
We will run a Park & Ride service from Clyro Court to the Festival site on selected dates only: Saturday 27 May, Sunday 28 May, Monday 29 May, Friday 2 June and Saturday 3 June. Parking costs £8 per day (cash and card payments are accepted), which also includes unlimited use of our Festival–Town shuttle service. The car park is suitable even if it rains, so you will not be left stuck in the mud. You can book tickets in advance.
We have disabled parking spaces on the Festival site. Our Box Office staff will be happy to help you pre-book disabled parking when you book your event tickets, or you can book online.
Dogs must not be left unattended in cars in any of our car parks at any time.
Please park with consideration for local residents. We ask you not to park on the highway or grass verges.
You’ll find four fast electric charging points in Oxford Road car park in the centre of Hay (HR3 5EQ), and further charging points a five-minute drive from Hay at Clyro Court (HR3 5LE). We do have 4 charging points in the disabled car park on the Festival site (HR3 5PJ) which are available on a first-come first-served basis - these are £6.00 for 2 hours charging. The time available for charging a car will be dependent on current car park occupancy. There is also one fast charger available at Drover Cycles (HR3 5EH). National car charging websites will show more charging locations in the local area.
You can park your bike for free on the Festival site.
