Festival Benefactors

This is an exclusive opportunity for a limited number of people, whose interests, preferences and priorities are closely aligned with ours.

Hay Festival is, in essence, a reunion of friends and like-minded people. To be a Friend of the Festival means to be part of a cultural event happening all over the world; to have access to a universe of ideas in all the festivals taking place across eight countries; and to get to know and share stories, literature, music, parties and much more.

Annual donation for 1 person: USD 1,500 (one thousand five hundred American dollars)

Annual donation for 2 people: USD 2,000 (two thousand American dollars)

What benefits do you receive as a Benefactor of the Festival?

• A distinctive name badge that gives access to all events during the Festival in Arequipa.
• A certificate of donation of behalf of the Hay Festival Foundation.
• The publication of your name(s) in a distinct section of the Festival printed programme, under the Benefactors category, as well as on our website.
• An invitation to the brunch arranged by the British Council and Hay Festival, for authors and accredited national and international journalists.
• A yearly photograph of a recognized author signed by Daniel Mordzinski, also known as the ‘writers’ photographer’.
• Online newsletter for benefactors (four yearly newsletters).
• A ‘Hay International’ pass, which gives access to 10 events of your choice at our international festivals. More information about our international festivals.
• Priority entry to the Arequipa Municipal Theatre, the centre of Hay Festival Arequipa.

Annual donation for 1 person: USD 500 (five hundred American dollars)

Annual donation for 2 people: USD 800 (eight hundred American dollars)

• A certificate of donation of behalf of the Hay Festival Foundation.
• An invitation to an exclusive gathering during the Festival which includes the presence of the guest authors.
• Online newsletter for Friends and Benefactors (four newsletters annually).
• A Hay International pass, which gives access to seven events of your choice at our international festivals. More information about our international festivals.
• The publication of your name in the Hay Festival Benefactors section of the Festival programme, as well as on our website.
• Priority entrance to the Arequipa Municipal Theatre, the centre of Hay Festival Arequipa.
