    Accreditation Instructions for Hay Festival Arequipa 2026

    Dear members of the media,

    Thank you very much for your interest in the 12th edition of Hay Festival Arequipa, which will take place from 5 to 8 November 2026 in Arequipa. We invite you to carefully review the following information and complete the requested details to apply for press accreditation.

    Procedure and deadlines

    The accreditation process will be open from Wednesday 23 September to Friday 9 October 2026.

    • Complete your accreditation registration here.
    • Starting Monday 26 October, confirmation of accreditation will be sent by email, along with confirmation of any interview requests submitted for the festival, where applicable.

    Media accreditation quotas

    • Print media: 2 reporters and 2 photographers
    • Television (per production): 2 video journalists and 2 reporters
    • Radio: 1 reporter and 1 digital producer
    • Digital media: 2 reporters
    • Social media: 1 content creator

    Guidelines

    • We remind journalists, camera operators and photographers that, once an event has begun, they should not obstruct the audience’s view during sessions.
    • Please maintain order when entering the venues and throughout the sessions.
    • Priority will be given to interview requests submitted in advance, subject to the guests’ availability.
    • For new interview requests or topics that arise during the festival, you may contact the press team directly, which will be available from the launch press conference through to the conclusion of the event.
