MEDIA ACCREDITATION

Instructions for Accreditation at the Hay Festival in Colombia 2026

1. Accreditation will be open from Monday, 24 November 2025, until Friday, 9 January 2026.

2. To request accreditation, please use the following link. It is important that, during the accreditation process, you indicate which festival(s) you wish to attend (Jericó, Medellín, and/or Cartagena).

3. For Cartagena, access to the Hay Festival talks will be limited. Each journalist must indicate in the form up to 10 conversations for which they wish to reserve a ticket. Press credentials will not grant access to the Hay Festival events; entry will only be permitted with a valid ticket. For more details about the programme, please visit www.hayfestival.com/cartagena. Tickets will be subject to availability.

4. Camerapeople may enter the talks to record material but may not remain in the venue for more than 15 minutes. Access for camera operators will be based on an approved list, and they must present their media ID.

5. From 13 January onwards, accreditation confirmations will be sent out. This process may take a few days. Once the process is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.

6. A maximum of two journalists and two photographers will be accredited per media outlet. In the case of television or web media, two production teams will be allowed.

7. Priority will be given to interviews requested in advance, depending on the availability of the guests. If you are interested in new interviews or emerging topics, please do not hesitate to contact the press team, who will be available throughout the Festival in the press room or via email.
