Our Own and Others’: The Worlds of San Juan de la Cruz and Santa Teresa de Ávila

On the occasion of the fifth centenary of the birth of Teresa de Jesús, Hay Festival Segovia remembers one of the most important spiritual and literary meetings in history, between Saint Teresa de Ávila and San Juan de la Cruz in 1567. Five poets – Antonio Colinas, Clara Janés, José María Muñoz Quirós, Luis Alberto de Cuenca and Carlos Aganzo – read from the works of these two religious mystics and discuss their meaning.
