Cuban writer Pedro Juan Gutiérrez is the author of some ten novels, among them the Dirty Havana Trilogy, a gritty account, told with black humour. His latest book, Fabián and the Chaos (which should be available in English next year) is a vivid portrayal of post-revolutionary Cuba in the 1960s, seen through the eyes of two unlikely friends. The author discusses with the journalist of EL PAÍS Juan Cruz.
