Duelling and sword fighting. Cervantes and Shakespeare

JESÚS ESPERANZA AND HIS ACTING SCHOOL

Venue: Plaza San Martín

Fencing master Jesús Estrella, who has worked on innumerable Spanish films and television series offers a demonstration of the talent of his actors, who stage two open air sword-fighting scenes: Hamlet vs Laertes, and Don Quixote against the Knight of the Mirrors. Beforehand, a 40-minute master class in the basics of stage sword fighting will be held for up to 12 young people, who will then show off their newly acquired skills in a short performance.

Places are free, but on a first come, first serve basis.

In case of rain, the event will be transferred to the La Cárcel, Cinemateca.
