FINSTERWORLD's plot takes place in a timeless Germany. This is a country where the sun is always shining, children wear a uniform at school, police officers dress up as bears and pedicurists give cookies to their customers as a present. However, this beautiful parallel world is on the brink of ruin, and that is where we are heading. We face a costumbrist film, as enchanting as disenchanting. FINSTERWORLD is a tender and cautious declaration of hatred towards Germany.
