A Philosophy and a Law graduate, with a doctorate in Philosophy, Javier Gomá (Spain) is the Director of the Juan March Foundation, a member of the US State Department’s International Visitors Program and a member of the Council of State. He won the 2004 National Essay Prize and Foreign Policy magazine included him on its list of the 50 most influential Ibero-American intellectuals twice (2012 and 2014). His most recent book, Dignidad (2020), covers a matter that has been behind some of the big debates of the 20th and early 21st century: human dignity. Gomá will talk to the Peruvian philosopher Pablo Quintanilla.
