Nick Stern, a worldwide acknowledged expert in the field of climate change, is the author of the revealing The Economics of Climate Change: The Stern Review, commissioned by the British government in order to understand and assess the impact of climate change on the global economy. He talks to Rosie Boycott about Haiti, Darfur and Bangladesh and about solutions to avoid the irreversible deterioration of the planet. This event was recorded at the Hay Festival in Wales in 2010 and will be shown in all of the countries in which the Hay Festival takes place as a way of celebrating the global agreement with the British Council.
