Nerea Pallares Vilar (Lugo, 1989) holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Santiago and a Master’s degree in Comparative Studies of Literature, Art and Thought from Pompeu Fabra University. She is the author of the short story collections Sidecar (2015) and Los ritos mudos (2021), and some of her stories have been included in anthologies such as Pena negra (2022) and Ellas, las extrañas (2023). With the Galician-language original of Punto de araña (2025; Libros del Asteroide, 2026), she won the García Barros Prize in 2025.
