Author of illustrated books and poetry. Twice winner of the White Ravens Prize at the Munich Internationale Jugendbibliothek, the first time for Buenas noches, Martina (2010) and the second for Desayuno (2014). In 2013 her book Más te vale, mastodonte won the prestigious children’s writing award “A la orilla del viento” organized by the Fondo de Cultura Económica. She has published the poetry collections De vuelta (2001), Cualquier cielo (2008) and Sobre mi almohada una cabeza (2012). In 2015 the Estampa gallery (Madrid) published the anthology Una flor amarilla, with illustrations by Karina Beltrán. She has recently released Un circo sin carpa (2016, co-written by Carlos Yushimito) and Dónde está Tomás (2016), special mention in IBBY Chile’s Medalla Colibrí award. Her books have been translated into English, French, Portuguese and Japanese.
