Women architects have been making a major contribution to many of the world’s major studios, but have yet to be given the recognition they deserve. Architect Francine Houben, head of Dutch studio Mecanoo and the Architects’ Journal Architect of the Year in 2014, talks to Christine Murray, editor of the Architectural Review, and to Martha Thorne, Executive Director of the Pritzker Prize and Dean of the IE School of Architecture and Design.
