In his book Los niños del Amazonas, Coronell tells the extraordinary story of four children who were lost for 40 days in the Guaviare rainforest after a light aircraft accident, and how they were found. This in-depth investigation also deals with the reality of the Amazon region, the indigenous cultures that live there, the challenges they face, the importance of caring for it, and the ancient traditions of these peoples. In conversation with Jennifer Montoya.
All Sunday 2 February events will be free for people from the department of Bolívar. Complimentary tickets can be requested at the box office of the Hay Festival (Centro de Convenciones) showing your ID, between 27 Janaury and 2 February.
