He must begin to understand that his life will never be the same as before. "Benjamin, a 20-year-old sportsman, opens his eyes in hospital. He has just undergone surgery after diving into an insufficiently full pool, the accident has affected his spine, and Benjamin is now a quadriplegic, confined to a bed, with uncertain possibilities of regaining sensitivity and mobility.

This accident happened during the youth of the famous composer and poet of slam Grand Corps Malade, who narrates his rehabilitation in a book that has now led to the big screen.
