America, through its objects

Arequipa 2021,
Museum collections store artefacts such as ancient codices that give testimony to the many different worldviews and ways of life of different peoples throughout history. Based on an object from each of five major collections that cover the history of the Americas, five experts on the subject will talk about a part of this history. With Iris Bachmann, from the British Library (United Kingdom); Baltazar Brito, from the Mexican National Museum of Anthropology and History (Mexico); Tracy Bonfitto, Art Curator at the Harry Ransom Center (United States); Laura Osorio Sunnucks, from the British Museum (United Kingdom); and Ulla Holmquist of the Museo Larco (Peru).
