Javier Peña (Spain), creator of the podcast Grandes Infelices, and Fietta Jarque (Peru–Spain) —journalist and author of the most recent biography of Blanca Varela, La vértebra perdida— come together with Cecilia Barría to reconstruct the life and work of one of the most extraordinary figures in Latin American poetry. Marking the centenary of her birth, this conversation offers a fresh perspective on Varela: moving beyond the myth of the tormented writer to explore the lucidity, loss, love and radical honesty that permeate her work.
