Hay Festival Arequipa 2023 – Sport
Welcome to the Hay Festival Arequipa 2023 programme. This celebration of literature, culture and ideas will run 9-12 November, presenting 109 activities with 145 guests from 15 countries. We will offer 17 talks and workshops for students at the Hay Joven programme and 7 events for children at Hay Festivalito.
Hay Forum Moquegua will take place on 8 November with four activities on education and current affairs.
The university community and senior citizens have free access to up to 10 tickets. More information.

Of course, there are many writers who are also fans of “the most important of the least important things” in life. Luis García Montero, Spanish poet, Director of the Cervantes Institute and a sensitive observer of the game. Eduardo Sacheri (Argentina), author of The Secret in Their Eyes, a novel that contains a scene set in a football stadium; and Abelardo Sánchez-León (Peru), sociologist, journalist, poet and author of essays and non-fiction such as La balada del gol perdido, will talk to Patricia del Río.
